SALE OF SCRAP METALS – July 2024

The Fiji Revenue and Customs Service (FRCS) invites submissions from interested registered scrap dealers for the sale of used assorted scraps by Customs. The scrap will be sold as parts prescribed under the provision of Section 159 of Customs Act. The successful scrap dealers will have to collect the goods from the Customs Warehouse upon supervision within the timeframe approved by FRCS.

INSPECTION SCHEDULE:

 Location:         Fiji Ports Terminal Ltd, Lautoka.      

Date:               24.07.2024 | Time:    2.00 pm – 3.00 pm

CONDITIONS:

  • All items to be dismantled on site
  • Dismantling costs will be borne by the successful bidder
  • Goods will be sold as is where is basis.

All the successful bidders are reminded that they are required to pay the relevant dues and clear the goods within 48 hours from Customs Warehouse from the date of payment. If the goods are not collected within this timeframe, then storage fees will apply.

All offers with the FRCS compliance certificate are to be emailed by 02/08/2024 to sales@frcs.org.fj
