FRCS Introduces Yacht Management System (YMS) to Enhance Border Efficiency and Compliance

FRCS is pleased to announce the introduction of its latest digital innovation, the Yacht Management System (YMS).

The YMS marks a significant transition from manual and fragmented procedures to a fully digital, integrated, and risk-based platform. It enables Single Window processing, reduces duplication of effort, and strengthens information-sharing across relevant agencies.

As yacht traffic continues to increase, the YMS ensures that Customs operations remain agile, cost effective, and intelligence driven, while upholding high standards of compliance and border security. This initiative reinforces FRCS’s commitment to smart regulation, facilitating legitimate maritime activity while enhancing our ability to identify and deter non compliance.

By advancing paperless processing, FRCS is improving operational efficiency, reducing administrative costs for both government and industry, and enabling Customs officers to dedicate more time to critical risk targeting activities rather than routine volume processing.
