As FRCS apply tax law to facts, some areas of dispute are inevitable. Where disputes do occur, our approach is to resolve disputes early and avoid litigation (where possible). We aim to work collaboratively to reduce the time to resolve disputes, reduce the number of disputes, lower costs for both taxpayers and the FRCS, and make interactions with the FRCS easier.
