Motor vehicle landing cost refers to the total expense incurred to import a vehicle into a country. This cost includes not only the purchase price of the vehicle but also all additional expenses associated with bringing the vehicle into the country and clearing it through customs.
Key Components of Motor Vehicle Landing Cost:
- Purchase Price: The amount paid for the vehicle itself.
- Freight and Shipping: Costs of transporting the vehicle from the country of origin to the destination port.
- Insurance: Coverage during transit, if applicable.
- Customs Duties and Taxes: Fiscal duty, Import excise, Luxury Vehicle Levy & Value Added Tax (VAT).
