Clarification on VMS Registration Requirements Following the 2025–2026 National Budget Announcement

Following the announcement of the 2025–2026 National Budget by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Strategic Planning, National Development and Statistics, Honourable Professor Biman Prasad, on 27 June 2025, the Fiji Revenue and Customs Service (FRCS) wishes to provide clarification regarding the VAT Monitoring System (VMS) registration requirements for businesses with an annual turnover of $50,000 or more.

VMS registration is mandatory for businesses falling under Phases 1 to 3 of the implementation schedule:

Businesses not included in the above phases but wishing to voluntarily comply with VMS requirements may contact FRCS by emailing at efdenquiry@frcs.org.fj.
