FRCS Invites Taxpayers to Attend Electronic Fiscal Device (EFD) Awareness Sessions

FRCS continues to strengthen its engagement with the business community through a series of nationwide Electronic Fiscal Device (EFD) awareness sessions scheduled throughout September and October 2026.

These interactive, face-to-face sessions are designed to provide businesses with the knowledge and support needed to successfully register for and implement EFDs, ensuring a smooth transition and ongoing compliance with tax obligations.

Participants will gain valuable insights into:

• The purpose and benefits of Electronic Fiscal Devices (EFDs)

• EFD registration requirements and procedures

• Businesses and taxpayers required to register

• Key compliance obligations and implementation processes

Electronic Fiscal Devices are advanced systems that securely record and transmit sales transaction data to FRCS in real time. The adoption of EFDs represents a significant step towards enhancing transparency, improving tax compliance, and modernizing tax administration in Fiji.

By enabling real-time transaction monitoring, EFDs help create a fairer business environment, strengthen revenue collection, improve audit efficiency through secure data management, and provide consumers with accurate and verifiable receipts.
