FRCS Team Engages Public on FBC’s Radio Talk-Back Shows
Our team appeared on FBC’s radio talk-back shows, Domo-ni-Vanua and Drishtikon, to raise awareness on pertinent tax-related issues. Our experts provided comprehensive explanations on tax filing and payment obligations and on the importance of the Taxpayer Online Service (TPOS).
During these sessions, the team delved into various aspects of tax returns, including who is required to file, the importance of timely submissions, and the specific returns due in March. They also highlighted on the challenges currently faced by FRCS in the tax filing process. Additionally, the discussions also focused on the importance of tax payments to both FRCS and Fiji, identifying those obligated to pay, the taxes due in March, and the associated challenges.
Listeners were also informed about the benefits and importance of TPOS, which aims to streamline tax processes and enhance compliance.
Our regular participation in radio talk-back shows is part of FRCS’s ongoing education and awareness initiatives. We strive to empower taxpayers with essential knowledge about various tax types, their functions, and compliance requirements.
The interactive nature of these shows allowed our team to address all queries from the live audience effectively. We continue to offer free educational programs on a wide range of tax and customs topics. For further assistance, please contact us at 3243000 or 1326, or email us at info@frcs.org.fj
