Rebranding of FRCS
The rebranding of the Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority (FRCA) to the Fiji Revenue and Customs Service (FRCS) was formalized through legislative amendments passed by the Fijian Parliament on 15 September 2017. These amendments were gazetted and came into effect on 20 September 2017 under the Fiji Revenue and Customs Service (Amendment) Act 2017
VAT Monitoring System Introduced
The VAT Monitoring System (VMS) was introduced to improve tax compliance and revenue collection.
TPOS Launched 2019
FRCS began launching the Taxpayer Online Service in December 2019.
TPOS Completes Implementation
In April 2023 FRCS celebrated completion of the digital online system.
FRCS Surpasses $3 Billion in Revenue
