We are looking for a suitable candidate for Senior Properties and Administration Officer and Assistant Accountant- Fixed Assets position to be based at our Finance Section, Corporate Services Division in Suva Office. To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following:


Senior Properties and Administration Officer:

  • Lead the properties section and undertake overall responsibility and accountability for the monitoring and proper management of FRCS’s property and other assets; and
  • Ensure that FRCS properties are maintained and managed to a high standard and to ensure an accurate record is kept in relation to this function.


The successful candidate should have the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Diploma in Building & Civil Engineering or any other related field;
  • At least 5 years’ experience in related field.

Salary Band 7: $43,411 Base Salary


Assistant Accountant- Fixed Assets:

  • Preparation and presentation of business cases for any purchase of fixed assets supported by cost/benefit analysis, estimated useful life analysis and availability of spare parts and backup services;
  • Timely receiving, tagging and accurate update of fixed assets and warranty register;
  • Monthly reconciliation of fixed assets registers with general ledger;
  • Disposal of assets, which has reached its useful life, or not in usable condition; and
  • Providing analysis for renewal of general insurance and processing of insurance claims for damaged or stolen assets.


The successful candidate should have the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting;
  • At least 3 years’ experience in related field.

Salary Band 4: $24,052 Base Salary
