Manager Projects & Properties – Vacancy 35/2018

As part of our strategy for world class performance, we are offering a Manager Projects & Properties position based at our National Office in Suva, Fiji. This role will be reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Position Purpose
The role is responsible for overseeing and monitoring of project delivery, preparation and coordination of project reports using relevant analytical tools, development and review of relevant policies and providing sound advice to leadership team on strategies for property management and asset maintenance. Furthermore, responsibilities also include providing governance and effective leadership delivery of projects in its entire lifecycle of project planning and budget transitioning into operations ensuring property project plans and resources are aligned with the Corporate objectives of the FRCS.

The Manager Projects & Properties must be a dynamic individual with strong communication, leadership and analytical skills and be able to work across multi-functional areas.

The successful candidates will possess the following attributes:

  • Essential: A degree or diploma in Building & Civil Engineering or related field with technical certifications.
  • 5-6 years working knowledge and experience in structural, properties and project management or similar role.
  • Competent in using latest analytical tools related to project management.
  • Genuinely passionate about partnering with operations and understanding the business.
  • Under limited supervision, manage day to day operations of fleet and asset/properties team

Base Salary: Band 8 $51,592
