Human Resources Business Partner – Vacancy 31/2018

As part of our strategy for world class performance, we are offering two (2) HR Business Partner positions to join our People Capability & Culture team based at our National Office in Suva, Fiji. This role will be reporting directly to the Manager (HR) Business Service.

Position Purpose

A HR Business Partner is responsible for proactively working in partnership with allocated Leaders to identify and action continuous people management, productivity and customer service improvements, providing quality research, analysis and options. Responsibilities include proactively supporting Leaders through the provision of providing support and coaching to the organization, providing sound HR advice, employment relations and performance management, recruitment and selection, provide guidance and input for workforce planning, optimization of resources, enhancing staff engagement and productivity across a business unit and application of HR policies and procedures adopting world-class HR practices.

The successful candidates should possess the following attributes:

  • Essential: A degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field in management, administration, industrial relations or business studies, or at least 5 years in HR advisory experience.
  • High level of ethics and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Working knowledge of the Employment Relations Act
  • Strong competency in collaboration, communication, resilience and balancing stakeholders.
  • Genuinely passionate about partnering with operations and understanding the business.

Base Salary: Band 5 $30,230
