We are looking for suitable candidates for the following positions:

Senior IT Support Engineer (Applications) – Vacancy 20/2018 (Re-advertised) Base Salary: Band 6 $36,939

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication
  • Ability to diagnose incidents & resolve with a focus on the ‘one-touch’ principle
  • Ability to communicate with business users, technical and implementation teams effectively
  • Champion adoption of industry best practices (processes, tools, methods) which can improve productivity and quality
  • Extensive experience gathering complex requirements, documentation, analysis, UAT scripts and validation
  • Proven experience of at least 3 years in programming or SQL server
  • A consultative approach to problem solving with an analytical and operational focus
  • Tertiary qualification at Degree level in Information Technology, Engineering or relevant field
  • ITIL, Microsoft SQL Certification and Prince2 certification desirable

Senior IT Support Engineer (Systems) – Vacancy 20/2018 (Re-advertised) Base Salary: Band 6 $36,939

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication
  • Strong diagnostic and analytical skills with a high degree of technical competence and ability to develop solutions.
  • Self-motivated individual who is not afraid to work outside his or her comfort zone
  • Exceptional stakeholder management experience
  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills including project management and knowledge of testing disciplines
  • Ability to advise and champion IT best practices, industry trends and innovations
  • Proven experience of at least 3 years in IT infrastructure
  • Adhering and complying to Change Management processes and approved policy
  • Tertiary qualification at Degree level in Information Technology, Engineering or relevant field
  • ITIL, MCSA or MCSE, Linux, Oracle and PM certification desirable

Strategic Planning Officer-Vacancy 25/2018 (Re-advertised) Band 4: $24,052 base salary

This role reports to the Manager Research Planning and Policy Development.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the production of FRCS Strategic Plan, Annual report, Half Yearly and Statement of Corporate Intent as required under the FRCS Act
  • Coordinate strategic planning, research, monitoring and evaluation
  • Conduct analysis on recommendations relating to Fiji Business Excellence Awards (FBEA).
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence.
  • Drafting of strategic reports for higher authority

Requirements:

  • Degree in business administration, Finance, Economics or related field for this position
  • Experience with strong research and analytical skills with the ability to creatively translate and communicate information
  • Must be able to drive for results
  • Must be a strategic thinker and must have past experience in the writing of quality strategy documents
