FBEA Prize Award

The Fiji Revenue and Customs Service (FRCS) was awarded a Fiji Business Excellence Awards (FBEA) Prize Award in the annual Fiji Business Excellence Awards Night at the Denarau Island Convention Centre in Sheraton Fiji Resort on 4th November 2017. The Chief Guest, His Excellency, the President, Major-General (Ret’d) Jioji Konrote officiated at the awards night.

“Receiving the award is a recognition of the improvement in processes and systems within the organization over the last year that have resulted in performance improvement, organizational learning, and increased integration”.

“The award reflects the Tax and Administrative Reforms that has been achieved in FRCS. It underlines the significant changes that the FRCS has come through and that our transformation will continue in the future,” Chief Executive Officer Mr. Visvanath Das said.

The FBEA Prize Award is accorded to those organizations who have a good integration of quality management principles and systems in their operations. These organizations are considered best in class in Fiji’s terms.

“The framework itself is all about improving an organization’s processes and system and results measurement. We have integrated these as a strategic focus area in our new Strategic Plan so that it becomes an integral component of our operations”.

“I would like to thank all my staff for being one team, one organization all working smarter towards a better organization, an organization that excels in all facets. All geared towards helping every taxpayer, traveller, trader with their individual or business tax matters and helping Fiji grow”, Mr. Das said.

“We also recognize that FRCS still has many areas that can be improved. We remain committed to our endeavour to achieve our vision of becoming a World Class Organization and we will continue to participate in the FBEA to help us achieve this vision”.
